Who is JohnPaul Okwi?
John Paul Okwi is the current Manager Sponsorships and Events at the Telecommunications giant MTN responsible for brand positioning through experiential marketing and sponsorships.
He is also the founding president of Uganda Marketers Society and later a board member upon expiry of his term in February 2020.
Experience
JohnPaul Okwi started his career way back in 2004 at National Forestry Authority as an Administrative Assistant and has since made several career moves.
He bounced in the marketing space in 2009 when he joined Eclipse Marketing and Events an Experiential Marketing Firm as a Business Manager.
Prior to being appointed Sponsorships and Events Manger at MTN, Okwi served as Manager Events for two years responsible for planning and event execution MTN being the leader in experientials and events.
JohnPaul Okwi is also currently a consultant tutor(Datamine Business School for CIM UK & Edinburg Business School, Heriot Watt University-MBA class on Strategic Marketing)
