Clinton Mawanda is one of Uganda`s few CIM UK Fellows. He is the Co-founder Ultra Group a marketing and communications group and  formerly Country Head of Marketing Delight Solar having left the Solar company early this year.

Experience

Prior to joining Delight Solar, Mawanda served as Head Marketing and Corporate Communications Uganda Development Bank for 5 years .

Clinton is also an Associate consultant for CIM UK at Uganda Management Institute study center since 2016.He is responsible for course/modules including Managing campaigns, Customer Experience among others.

Clinton has previously served as Country Demand creation Manager Carlsberg Uganda and offered strategic business growth of the Carlberg brand.

Why Clinton stands out

Clinton has mentored and taught over 200 marketing professionals at UMI and this effort has contributed towards professionalizing the industry since 2016.

Clinton is an entrepreneur with over 13 years of marketing experience. He contributed to the finding of Ultra group of companies as a forward-thinking alternative to traditional marketing models. Ultra has managed clients including Exim Bank, Oryx Energies among others.

While at  Marketing United Bank for Africa  as Head Branding & Marketing made the UBA prepaid card a household card for online payments for over 3 years he worked at Africa`s global bank.
