Experience
Prior to joining self-employment, Dr Innocent was in formal employment having joined Red Pepper publications Limited as part of the pioneer employees of the tabloid while still a student at Makerere University.
He also worked with New Vision newspaper and SMS Media for some time.
Why Dr Innocent stands out?
While at Red Pepper, Nahabwe was doing more than three tasks and by doing so many people used to think that he owns some shares in the company which he served for nine years
According to UCC/IPSOS, Galaxy FM is among Uganda`s top 10 Radio stations by listenership and yet the station was established way after than several stations on the same list. That’s proof that the Marketing guru in him prevails in all business aspects.
On July 12, 2019, Dr Nahabwe launched his maiden book ‘Treating Small businesses: Lessons from my operations’- an ultra-realistic guide for entrepreneurs on how to leverage partnerships, raise capital and how to manage individuals. This is inspirational and worth recognizing.
The St. Joseph’s Vocational School Mbarara old boy is remembered to have done production, sales, photography and write stories at Red Pepper Publications. Clearly these are tasks for more than two employees.
Education
The businessman mogul attained his bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Small/Companion Animal Surgery and Medicine and holds a master’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing from Makerere University among his other academic qualifications.
The father of 3 is the current Vice Chairman of National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Uganda.
