Who is John Ssenkeezi?

John is a multifaceted Marketing professional with over 12 years’ experience in Digital and Social Media Strategy, Content Development, Analytics spanning industries like FMCG, Banking, Telecoms, Automobiles, and the media among others.

Ssenkeezi is the current Digital Supervisor at National Social Security Fund responsible for the strategy, content, analytics, media planning and buying functions of the fund. A position he has been for the last 2 years.

John has  built a solid reputation in Uganda’s Digital Marketing space and accelerated his career through intensive networking and giving endless keynote speeches whenever called upon


John Ssenkeezi has worked with  leading global and top local brands including Airtel Uganda as the Digital Marketing and Strategic Alliances Manager at Airtel Uganda. He was responsible for the strategy, content, digital product development, analytics, media planning and buying functions of the Telecom giant working with different local and global agency partners

John  worked with Vodafone as Digital and social media for over 1 year and  achieved tremendously.

He has served at UBC as a marketing executive, Daily Monitor as  social media specialist, QG Group as Digital Communications Executive among other roles.

Other brands that John worked with include  Isuzu, Chevrolet, Guinness, Tata, Daily Monitor, 93.3 KFM, Tusker, Johnny Walker, Roke Telkom, Uganda Health Marketing Group, Barclays, FLY, Huawei among others.

Since he joined NSSF, the digital marketing at the fund has shifted with the fund more visible more than ever before and that can’t go unnoticed.

Every end of  year, John publishes a list of brands/clients he consults in the 12 months and it’s amazing how a busy professional John is can consult for over 20 big brands.
